Destiny 2's Episode Heresy introduces two powerful new Exotic weapons, each with unique capabilities and mechanics. Here's what players can expect:
Barrow-Dyad (Strand Submachine Gun)
- Primary perk "Panic Response" charges blight when dealing damage
- When not firing, blight depletes to refill magazine
- Reloading converts blight into Blighted Seekers that bounce between targets
- "Taken Divergence" perk generates extra blight when hitting three separate targets
- Not a weapon of Sorrow (won't work with Necrotic Grips)
- Earned through Episode progression

Lodestar (Arc Trace Rifle)
- First primary ammo trace rifle in Destiny 2
- Hip-fire functions like standard trace rifle
- ADS reduces fire rate, similar to scout/pulse rifle

- "Starlight Beam" provides enhanced stability and accuracy
