Death in League of Legends occurs when a champion's health reaches zero. Champions who die face a respawn timer and their screen turns gray, while gold is rewarded to enemies who earned kills or assists.

Death Timer Mechanics:

Summoner's Rift:

  • Base respawn time varies by champion level (10-52.5 seconds)
  • Additional time based on game duration:
    • 15-30 minutes: +0.425% per 30 seconds
