Hextech Revolver was a powerful magic item in League of Legends that provided ability power and unique combat effects before its removal in patch V10.23.

  • Cost: 1050 gold (180 combine cost)
  • Built from: 2x Amplifying Tome

Passive - Magic Bolt: Basic attacks against enemy champions dealt 50-125 bonus magic damage (based on level) with a 40-second cooldown, shared with other Hextech items.

Notable Changes:

  • Originally provided 10% spell vamp, later increased to 20%
  • Spell vamp was removed and replaced with Magic Bolt passive
  • Base damage was reduced from 75-150 to 50-125
  • Eventually replaced by Hextech Alternator in patch V10.23

Build Path:

  • Component in Spirit of the Spectral Wraith (temporarily)
  • Gold efficiency: 82.86% based on base stats

The item underwent several iterations throughout League of Legends history, starting as a spell vamp item before evolving into a burst damage tool for ability power champions. Its removal came as part of the item system overhaul in Season 11.
