Destiny 2's Most Notorious Bug-Causing Weapon Gets Even More Powerful

Telesto, Destiny 2's infamously glitchy Exotic fusion rifle, is getting a significant rework in the upcoming Episode Heresy. Bungie announced these changes in their January 23rd blog post, addressing the weapon's current limitations in buildcrafting and power fantasy.

The rework includes major changes to both Harbinger's Pulse perk and its Catalyst:
- Current Harbinger's Pulse: Reloads Kinetic and Energy weapons on multikills
- New Harbinger's Pulse:
- Reloads Telesto only
- Triggers on any Void final blow
- Requires three kills for activation
- Telesto kills count as two
The new Catalyst introduces Harbinger Seethe, allowing players to trigger a special reload after three Harbinger's Pulse activations, causing Telesto projectiles to rain down on the next direct hit.
Given Telesto's notorious history of game-breaking glitches (tracked on the Telesto Report website), the community is both excited and wary of these changes. The weapon's rework arrives alongside other major updates in Episode Heresy on February 4, including:
- The Palindrome's return
- New Aspects for all classes
- Major Trials of Osiris changes
- A new dungeon
