Turok Returns: Classic FPS Series Reveals First New Game Since 2008

Turok returns after nearly two decades with a new installment, Turok: Origins, announced at The Game Awards 2024 by Saber Interactive. This marks the first new entry in the series since 2008's reboot.
The one-minute reveal trailer showcases realistic graphics and introduces multiplayer gameplay for the first time in the franchise's history. Players can team up with friends to hunt dinosaurs and battle alien threats across various dangerous worlds.
The series follows a Native American warrior who becomes stranded in a dinosaur-filled land. Originally a comic book character, Turok made his gaming debut in 1997's Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for PC and Nintendo 64, establishing the franchise's first-person shooter gameplay style.
Turok: Origins will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. No official release date has been announced yet.
