The First Descendant Final Technical Test: How to Join and What's New
The First Descendant's final Technical Test runs from May 25-27, 2024, with pre-loading available on May 24. The beta is open to all PC players via Steam and serves as the last testing phase before the game's summer 2024 launch.
New Features in the Technical Test:
- Weapon Readjustment system for customizing weapon stats
- Two new field mission types:
- Void Fragment: Destroy fragments using Descendant abilities to earn Void Shards
- Void Fusion Reactor: Use Void Shards to summon and defeat enemies for rewards
How to Join:
- Search for The First Descendant on Steam
- Download the beta during the test period
- Pre-load starting May 24 to play immediately when servers open

- Various in-game events
- Free Caliber currency for testing store items
- Technical verification of game systems
