South Korean Tekken legend Byung-moon "Qudans" Son made a triumphant return to American tournaments after 10 years, winning the Tekken World Tour finals in a spectacular display of skill and determination.

In a dramatic tournament run, Qudans initially lost to Echo Fox's Jinwoo "Saint" Choi 3-1 in the winners final. He then defeated Echo Fox's Hyun-jun "JDCR" Kim 3-1 in the losers bracket - a player he had previously bested twice at the South East Asia Majors.

The grand finals saw Qudans face Saint again, where he needed to win two sets due to coming from the losers bracket. He accomplished exactly that, winning both sets 3-1 to claim the world title and $15,000 prize money, completing an all-Korean top three finish.
