Luminosity Gaming has announced major roster changes ahead of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Renato "Saints" Forza will remain with the organization, while Michael "SpaceLy" Schmale, Jeremy "StuDyy" Astacio, and Anthony "NAMELESS" Wheeler have departed.

The team quickly filled their vacant spots by acquiring three former Rise Nation players: Josiah "Slacked" Berry, Sam "Octane" Larew, and Nicholas "Classic" DiCostanzo.

These changes come after both teams' performances at Call of Duty XP 2016, where Rise Nation placed top-six despite being considered a top-two team globally throughout much of the year. Luminosity finished at top-12 in the tournament.

The roster changes mark one of the first major shifts in North American Call of Duty following CoD XP 2016, occurring earlier than expected as many anticipated teams would wait to evaluate their performance on Infinite Warfare before making changes.
