Craig Duncan, Studio Head at Playground Games, explained that the delay aims to ensure the highest quality experience for long-time fans. "We do these things for the best of the games and the teams, and ultimately that results in the best game for the community," Duncan stated.
This marks the first mainline Fable title in 12 years. Based on the revealed footage, the reboot appears to maintain the series' signature style while modernizing it for current gaming standards.
