The Ascendant Challenge this week in Destiny 2 (Nov. 12-19) is the Cimmerian Garrison, located in the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector in Rheasilvia.

To access and complete the challenge:

1. Obtain a Tincture of Queensfoil from Petra Venj or Dreaming City chests
2. Head to the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector in Rheasilvia
3. Find the portal above a ledge in the final boss room
4. Enter the Ascendant Plane and navigate the obstacle course
5. Defeat the miniboss at the end to claim your reward

Recommended loadout:

• Eager Edge sword for mobility
• Sniper rifle or rocket launcher for Shriekers
• Any weapons effective against Taken enemies

Key tips:

• Watch for Acolyte's Eyes during the platforming section
• Clear Thralls on the stairwell
• Take care crossing the floating rock platforms
• Defeat the final boss to spawn the reward chest

Rewards:

• One piece of Legendary Dreaming City gear
• Additional gear piece if you complete Petra's weekly bounty
• Can be completed on each character weekly

The Dreaming City gear pool includes reissued versions of:

• Waking Vigil
• Tigerspite
• Twilight Oath
