The LA Fire Relief bundle, priced at 2,400 CoD Points, included:
- Plasmic ultra skin for Payne
- SWAT 5.56 blueprint with unique tracer rounds
- AK-74 blueprint with unique tracer rounds
- Weapon charm
- Emblem
- Weapon sticker
- Spray
The funds will be distributed between the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and Direct Relief, supporting firefighters and relief efforts in the wake of devastating wildfires that affected the LA area. Several major gaming studios, including Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Activision, and High Moon Studios, have offices in the affected region.
In an unfortunate related incident, Treyarch studio co-founder Peter Akemann has pleaded guilty to piloting a drone that crashed into a firefighting plane during the blaze, temporarily grounding the aircraft.
The successful fundraising campaign demonstrates the gaming community's ability to unite for meaningful causes, providing essential support to those affected by natural disasters.
