Black Ops 6's Ranked Play launch has been marred by a significant issue: forced crossplay is exposing console players to PC hackers. Unlike previous titles, players can't disable crossplay in the competitive ladder mode, creating frustration within the gaming community.

The problem became evident shortly after Ranked Play's surprise early release, with numerous players sharing evidence of encountering cheaters. Professional player Dashy from OpTic Texas notably faced and defeated three hackers in a Hardpoint match, highlighting the widespread nature of the issue.

The situation is further complicated by the current absence of killcams in Ranked Play, which not only makes it difficult to verify suspicious behavior but also removes the direct reporting feature typically available during killcam replays.

Players climbing through Skill Divisions for exclusive rewards and higher ranks now face uncertainty about the integrity of the leaderboards, despite RICOCHET Anti-Cheat's implementation. The competitive community has expressed concerns about the fairness of matches and the overall ranked experience.
