Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 8 introduces 12 new subclasses, one for each existing class. Each subclass offers unique abilities and playstyles that expand character customization options.

New Subclasses Overview:

• Barbarian: Giant - Enhanced throwing abilities and extra damage during Rage
• Bard: College of Glamour - Specializes in charm effects and ally support
• Cleric: Death Domain - Focus on necromantic spells and death-based abilities
• Druid: Circle of the Stars - Versatile support and damage dealer using celestial powers
• Fighter: Arcane Archer - Combines archery with magical effects
• Monk: Way of the Drunken Master - Utilizes alcohol effects in combat
• Paladin: Oath of the Crown - Tank-focused defender with crowd control
• Ranger: Swarmkeeper - Controls nature spirits to enhance ranged attacks
• Rogue: Swashbuckler - Melee-focused with enhanced mobility
• Sorcerer: Shadow Magic - Stealth-based spellcasting and shadow manipulation
• Warlock: Hexblade - Melee-focused patron powers
• Wizard: Bladesinging - Combines arcane magic with martial combat

These subclasses become available when reaching the appropriate level for each class. They're accessible for both the main character and companions, offering new strategic options for team composition throughout the campaign.

The update also includes crossplay functionality and a new Photo Mode with extensive customization options, making Patch 8 one of the most significant updates to Baldur's Gate 3.
