Popular content creator Valkyrae has announced her return to Twitch after a five-year exclusive partnership with YouTube. Her first stream back will take place on January 8, 2024, coinciding with her birthday and marking 10 years of her streaming career.

The 32-year-old streamer completed three consecutive exclusive contracts with YouTube since her initial platform switch in 2020. During her time on YouTube, Valkyrae joined other prominent creators like CouRageJD, DrLupo, TimTheTatman, Ludwig, Myth, and Sykkuno who also made the move from Twitch.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Valkyrae hinted at possible future multistreaming plans when responding to Ludwig's question about streaming on multiple platforms simultaneously. Her cryptic "What's that?" response with a smile emoji suggests she might explore broadcasting across different platforms.

When Valkyrae first moved to YouTube in 2020, she cited financial stability and reduced pressure about viewer numbers as key factors in her decision. She also praised YouTube's commitment to improving its livestreaming features based on creator feedback.

Fans can watch Valkyrae's return to Twitch on January 8, where she's expected to share more details about her platform switch and announce a special streaming marathon.
