Shurima's Exotic Beasts: A Guide to League of Legends' Desert Creatures
Shurima's Desert Creatures
The diverse wildlife of Shurima's desert includes both natural and supernatural beings, each adapted to the harsh environment in unique ways.
Brackern are ancient creatures scattered across the Shuriman continent, primarily inhabiting the desert regions.
Dormun are massive, armored creatures with an innate ability to locate hidden water sources. Nomadic tribes often build permanent settlements on their backs, forming a symbiotic relationship where they remove parasites from the Dormun in exchange for transportation.
Eka'Sul are desert goats that travel in herds, while Mwatis are goat-like creatures known for their valuable wool and protective head plates used for insulation.
Kmiros are giant scarabs that hunt in swarms, preying on travelers. They serve as common prey for Rammus.

Outerbeasts, including the Xer'Sai, are Void creatures that plague the southern deserts. The Xer'Sai range from dog-sized to massive specimens like their queen, Rek'Sai. They're known for ambushing caravans and decomposing rapidly after death.

Ralsiji are aggressive, minotaur-like quadrupeds with distinctive humped backs and thick horns.
Shuriman Camels are well-adapted to desert travel and commonly used for transportation, though they remain vulnerable to predators like the Xer'Sai.
Sandswimmers are large creatures that travel in predictable patterns beneath the sand, using webbed feet and narrow bodies to "swim" through the desert while feeding on small creatures.

The Skallashi are respected quadrupedal herbivores known for their long legs and bad tempers. These beasts of burden are often decorated with sacred symbols and used for both transportation and cargo carrying. Owning a Skallashi is considered a sign of wealth.
