Core Mechanics:

  • Each use pushes a random pin into the doll
  • Regular pins trigger ghost interactions
  • Heart pin triggers a cursed hunt
  • You can use up to 10 pins total (unless heart pin is selected)

Possible Ghost Interactions:

  • EMF level five readings
  • Light switches toggling
  • UV evidence (footprints, fingerprints, handprints)
  • Door movements
  • Object interactions (teddy bears, showers, rocking chairs)
  • Electronic activations (TV, phone, radio, computer)
  • Environmental effects (car alarms, clocks, mannequins, campfires)

Sanity Costs:

  • Regular pin: 5% sanity drain
  • Heart pin: 10% sanity drain
  • At 0% sanity, only heart pin can be selected

  • Use the designated "Use" button (check Controls in Journal)
  • Cannot be used without sufficient sanity
  • Useful for gathering evidence when ghost activity is low
  • Less sanity drain than other Cursed Possessions but more unpredictable
