Marvel Rivals is demonstrating remarkable success just one month after its launch, significantly outperforming its main competitor, Overwatch 2, in several key areas.

The game launched with an impressive roster of 33 Marvel characters and is preparing to expand further with Season One, which will introduce the Fantastic Four. The team members will be added gradually, with some arriving at launch and others during a mid-season update.

Steam performance metrics show Marvel Rivals consistently maintaining 350,000-400,000 daily peak players, only slightly below its all-time peak of 480,000. In contrast, Overwatch 2 has struggled to exceed 40,000 peak players on Steam since its December 10 season launch.

The game's success extends beyond PC, with strong performance on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox platforms. Marvel Rivals ranks among the top 10 best-selling PS5 games and leads the free games category on the Microsoft Store.
