Shuriman Desert Wildlife

The diverse wildlife of Shurima's desert includes several notable species:

Brackern Ancient crystalline creatures native to Shurima, living in various clans throughout the desert region.

Dormun Massive creatures with chitinous plates that can sense hidden water reservoirs. Some nomadic tribes build permanent homes on their backs.

Xer'Sai Void creatures that plague the southern deserts. Led by their queen Rek'Sai, they burrow under the sand and ambush travelers. Their size varies from dog-sized to much larger.

Skallashi Large quadrupedal herbivores commonly used as beasts of burden. Known for their long legs and bad tempers, they are decorated with protective symbols and charms. Owning one indicates prosperity.

Sandswimmers Massive creatures that swim through sand in predictable patterns. They have narrow bodies and webbed feet ideal for sand travel. They feed on small desert creatures and bugs.
