Udyr is a unique champion in League of Legends who utilizes four different combat stances instead of having an ultimate ability. Each stance provides distinct passive and active effects that can be switched between during combat.
Monkey's Agility (Passive)
- Generates stacks when using abilities (up to 3)
- Each stack grants 5 bonus movement speed and 10% attack speed
- Maximum: 15 movement speed and 30% attack speed
- Stacks last 5 seconds and refresh on ability use
Tiger Stance
- Grants bonus attack speed for 5 seconds
- Every third attack deals bonus physical damage over 2 seconds
- Activating instantly grants 3 Tiger stacks
Turtle Stance
- Provides a protective shield for 5 seconds
- Every third attack heals for 2-4% maximum health (based on missing health)
- Activating instantly grants 3 Turtle stacks
Bear Stance
- Grants movement speed and ghosting
- Basic attacks stun targets for 1 second
- Stunned targets become immune for 5 seconds
- Enables 50-unit lunges toward non-immune champions
Phoenix Stance
- Creates damaging fire aura for 4 seconds
- Every third attack releases a damaging flame cone
- Activating instantly grants 3 Phoenix stacks

Each stance has unique strategic uses:
- Tiger for single-target damage
- Turtle for defense and sustain
- Bear for mobility and crowd control
- Phoenix for area damage
At level 16, all abilities can be upgraded to rank 6, though this requires additional leveling beyond normal limits to max all abilities.
The champion has undergone several visual updates while maintaining his core identity as a stance-switching warrior who channels primal animal spirits.
