The diverse wildlife of Shurima includes several notable species adapted to the harsh desert environment:
Brackern Ancient crystalline creatures native to the Shuriman desert, organized in various clans throughout the continent.
Dormun Massive creatures with chitinous armor plating that can sense hidden water sources. Some nomadic tribes build permanent settlements on their backs, maintaining a symbiotic relationship.

Xer'Sai Void creatures inhabiting southern desert regions. Most are dog-sized, though their queen Rek'Sai is exceptionally large. They attack caravans and decompose rapidly after death.
