Viktor is voiced by Owen Thomas in League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra, while Harry Lloyd voices him in Arcane. Young Viktor is voiced by Edan Hayhurst.

Originally called Hexmage during development, Viktor's design includes his signature third arm, which was later enhanced with lasers. His Hex Core was conceived as part of his concept as a tech mage and villain-style champion.

Viktor's character draws parallels to Nikola Tesla, particularly in how Professor Stanwick stole credit for Viktor's creation of Blitzcrank, similar to Tesla's experiences with Edison. His abilities were inspired by Tesla's unrealized inventions like the Death Ray, gravity device, magnetic shielding, and ionic storms.

In Arcane, Viktor is portrayed as a 25-year-old inventor in Act 1 and around 30 in Acts 2-3. He stands at 172 cm (5'8") and speaks with a distinctive Czech accent. The mechanical arm he uses was invented alongside Jayce as the Hexclaw, originally designed for precision crafting.
