Helldivers 2 Makes Killzone Crossover Items Free Following Player Pricing Backlash

Arrowhead Game Studios is offering free Killzone items to Helldivers 2 players following community feedback about expensive crossover pricing. The second wave of collaboration items is available now, ahead of its planned release next week.
Free items include:
- AC-2 Obedient armor set
- PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle
- StA-11 SMG
- Defender of Our Dream banner and cape

This response comes after players criticized the first wave's pricing, where items like the StA-52 Assault Rifle cost 615 Super Credits (approximately $6-7). The entire initial collection totaled 1,975 Super Credits, nearly equivalent to two Warbonds.

- First wave items will remain available until December 28 (extended from 5 to 10 days)
- Original pricing remains unchanged
- Developers are exploring ways to make items permanently available
- Free items are being distributed in two waves
