The Dyadic Ascension quest for Destiny 2's new Barrow-Dyad Exotic SMG is officially time-gated until Act Two launches on March 11, Bungie confirmed today.

Players cannot progress past Step Five of the quest, which requires the "Moment of Clarity" upgrade from the Shaping Slab, until Act Two becomes available.

• Quest unlocks after obtaining the Barrow-Dyad Exotic SMG
• Takes place in the Dreadnaught within the Destiny 2 Nether seasonal activity
• Requires collecting Taken Osseous Fragments
