Desire: We Can Appreciate Making it to CWL London Despite Setbacks
Ben "Desire" Wright and his team Epsilon eSports made an unexpected appearance at CWL London after replacing Supremacy as a last-minute substitute due to an email error. Despite initial uncertainties, the team performed admirably in Group B, defeating both The Imperial and Team IN2ITION to advance to the bracket stage.
Though Epsilon eventually fell to top teams Infused and Splyce in consecutive matches, Desire maintained a positive outlook on their tournament run. "The loss is horrible, but we got to appreciate that we were here and that we got pro points," he stated, highlighting the valuable experience gained for upcoming Atlanta and ESWC events.
Desire also praised Splyce's performance, suggesting they could potentially win the entire tournament: "I wouldn't be surprised if they win the event... To be the best, you got to beat the best, so it doesn't matter who you play, you still have to beat them."
