DEATH NOTE: Killer Within has received a significant free update introducing a new role and premium content to enhance the social deduction gameplay experience.

The new Kira's Spokesperson role joins Kira's team, adding a strategic layer to the 10-player game. During the Action phase, this role can secretly plant "Kira's Kingdom Cards" on other players. Any player caught with these cards faces arrest as Kira's collaborator, effectively removing them from the investigation. However, the Spokesperson must act cautiously, as possessing these cards when arrested leads to the same consequences.

The update also introduces premium downloadable content featuring:

• Premium Customization Track Vol. 5, including:
  • Rem and Naomi Misora avatars
  • 2 new pets
  • 19 accessories

  • 10 character cut-ins

The game maintains its core premise, where players take on one of five roles:

Each role offers unique gameplay mechanics, allowing for diverse strategies in this cross-platform multiplayer experience. Players must use deduction and cunning to either uncover L's identity or locate Kira's Death Note, leading to intense matches of strategy and deception.
