Path of Exile 2 features six initial classes, each with two unique Ascendancies that provide specialized abilities and passive skills. These Ascendancies become available after completing the Trial of the Sekhemas in Act 2's Traitor's Passage area.

Witch Ascendancies

• Blood Mage: Uses health as a resource for spells, provides healing, leeching, and infinite curses
• Infernalist: Masters fire damage, gains demon form, and converts damage to fire damage

Warrior Ascendancies

• Titan: Increases inventory capacity, health points, and armor effectiveness

Sorceress Ascendancies

• Stormweaver: Enhances shock and frost spells, improves Arcane Surge effects
• Chronomancer: Manipulates time, resets cooldowns, and provides temporal control abilities

Ranger Ascendancies

• Deadeye: Enhances projectile damage and accuracy at range
• Pathfinder: Specializes in flask usage and mobility, creates various offensive concoctions

Mercenary Ascendancies

• Witchhunter: Features ramping damage, enemy explosions, and execution mechanics
• Gemling Legionnaire: Improves skill gems quality and provides support gem bonuses

Monk Ascendancies

• Invoker: Masters elemental arts, enhances Energy Shield, and provides Elemental Expression
• Acolyte of Chayula: Specializes in chaos damage, provides Energy Shield regeneration, and Breach mechanics

Each Ascendancy offers unique playstyles and strategic advantages, allowing players to customize their characters according to their preferred combat approach.
