Borderlands 4 Launch Moves Up to September 12, State of Play Showcase Today
Borderlands 4's release date has been moved forward by two weeks, now launching on September 12, 2025, instead of the originally planned September 23. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version planned for later in the year.

A dedicated PlayStation State of Play showcase for Borderlands 4 will air today at 5:00 p.m. ET. The 20-minute presentation will feature:
- New weapons
- Character abilities
- Mission previews
- Additional gameplay content
